MONOGAMY IS GREAT!!! Unironically actually. Nikolas is 100% okay with being monogamous--well okay 95% okay and the extra 5% is just but gillbbbeerrtt. And he actually does have tentative sorta-permission from Winter to sleep with Gil anyway so. Possibly that worked out! IT'S UNSURE AND CONFUSING BUT MAYBE IT WORKED OUT?! The thing is even if Winter put his foot down and said no, Nikolas would be okay with it and respect it, and he absolutely wouldn't cheat on him anyway. Winter is the love of his life and he's entirely willing to give up ever sleeping with anyone else if it means Winter Winter Winter. The only reason it's even halfway a thing in Court is because he started forming this one intense attachment before Winter even showed up (and he really didn't think Winter ever WOULD show up) and it's harder to sever it now than to have never formed it in the first place! In canon once he starts actually having a thing with Winter he pretty much swears off of everyone else anyway without even needing to be asked to do it (though some of that was also circumstance). He's taken from a point before he made decisions like that consciously but it's still a thing he's comfortable with doing!
He is still going to flirt a lot and be very touchy and drapey because that's just how he is and Winter doesn't really care about that anyway! It was just the sleeping with like four dudes in one day that was . . . becoming a problem. :'D And he really feels no urge to do that anyway if he has Winter, and as a matter of fact his urge to do it even WITHOUT Winter was already starting to level off, especially the urge to take on new sexual partners rather than just finding the ones he already had an attachment to and hitting them up for sex.
